At 11, I sat at tables doing homework while worrying about dialysis schedules. I went to school exhausted from sleepless nights. I smiled when teachers asked if I was okay, even when I wasn't.

This design is the young person I was and the young caregivers who are living it now. Sitting there. Carrying too much. Not okay, but showing up anyway.

The comic book style represents how we're living a story nobody else can see. A silent struggle that deserves to be acknowledged.
